Two Peas in a Pod...

This is my cousin Sara...she is one of my most favorite people in the whole world. She is just 2 months younger than me. Yesterday I had the whole day with daddy (mommy took Abby and went shopping) and he asked me what I wanted to do and I said "play with Sawa!" We like to get in a lot of trouble together and mommy says someday we will be Great-grandma and Vern (for those of you who understand what that means!)

This picture was taken on Christmas and my Dama and Papa's house. Sawa's other Grandma and Papa were supposed to come up to visit but Grandma Jeannie got sick and couldn't come. I had very nice Christmas clothes to wear but I refused to put them on. I kicked and screamed until Mommy gave up and said "what do you want to wear?" (she insists that I wear clothes!) and I picked up my favorite sweatshirt and hat. (didn't mommy say she wished I was twins? HaHa I sure showed her!)

So Mommy has this picture on the window ledge behind the kitchen sink. It is one of her most favorite pictures of me. It was taken at my 1st Christmas in 2003. We spent that Christmas in South Carolina with Nana, Dzia Dzia and my godpapa Uncle Pat. She couldn't resist sharing my cuteness with all of you. She sometimes says I'm so cute she wishes I had been twins. Mommy is very silly sometimes.

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2005

Merry Christmas!!! Santa thought we were very good this year because when we got up this morning there was a lot of cool presents under the tree. You can see that my gift from my godpapa Uncle Pat was a BIG HIT!!! It was Darth Tater - Mr. Potato Head! Daddy thought it was pretty cool too! Nana and Dzia Dzia got me a really cool piggy bank that I refuse to put down now. Daddy says I have to be extra extra extra careful with the piggy bank and I am! I got a big box of lincoln logs from Dama and Papa too! Mommy and Daddy said there are a few more presents I will get tonight (from my Godmama Aunt Fessy and maybe a couple others). I like Jesus' birthday - everyone gets presents!!!

I got lots of nice presents too! Uncle Pat got me some really cool blocks that I like to stack and put in my mouth! Nana and Dzia Dzia got me this stacking toy with very soft animals!!! How did they know that I LOVE soft cuddly things!!! Dama and Papa got me some stacking cups and those are super super cool!

"T'was the night before Christmas..."

We got the boxes of Christmas presents from Nana and Dza Dza yesterday (since we won't get to see them this Christmas). There were two presents that said "OPEN NOW." So I got to open one and it was a really cool book all about Christmas. I kept saying "WOW WOW WOW" when I was opening it and then I made Daddy read it to me right away! It is SO cool! The other present was some very neat Christmas clothes for me and Abby. Mommy says she will post pictures of those when she puts them on us. But they are very pretty!

RIBS!

Nana and Dza Dza sent daddy and mommy a rib dinner from Sticky Fingers Resturaunt. They said that it was SO super yummy! They said the meat was perfect and the meat just fell off the bones! Thank you Nana and Dza Dza for making mommy and daddy so happy!

NO NO ABBY NO NO!

It is SO hard to be the big brother! I constantly have to police Abby and make sure she doesn't do anything she isn't supposed to. Mommy says that I'm not the sheriff - she says that only she and Daddy are the sheriffs. Abby has learned how to turn the TV on and off and how to change channels and how to make the volume REALLY LOUD and really quiet. I run after her and say "no no Abby no no" but she just looks at me and laughs. It is very frustrating when she doesn't obey!!!

Look At Me Stand!

Look at me go! I am such a big girl! Mommy is trying to get me to practice standing on my own. I don't like to stand - sitting is much better. Mommy wasn't sure how to encourage me to stand because Michael was standing 2 months. So Mommy thought that was normal!


So last night mommy stood me at my highchair and put some of my favorite snacks on it (Cheerios and VeggiePuffs) and I thought it was really fun to stand there and eat them.

Need Sleepy!

I was SOOOOOOOO sleepy last night. I usually go to bed at 8pm but I was snoring on the couch at 7pm! Mommy's best friend Jenney came over for a visit and she, mommy and daddy had a good time laughing at me.

I love my pjs - they have 'berde' dinosaurs on them...if you don't know "berde" it is green in Spanish! oh...mommy says it is verde...but mom! That's what I said!

Well as you can see Mommy finally got the new digital camera charged up! Daddy and I like to hang out on the 'touch.' I went and got my baby and a 'blanken' and went to cuddle with Daddy. I insisted that we both hold one of baby's hands.

Abby has a fever today. The doctor says it is probably from her flu shot booster yesterday. So she has been very cranky, clingy and sleepy. Understandably I have spent most of my time today holding and rocking her (when she isn't sleeping). Michael continues to be his charming self - although he has learned how to tease Abby. He will hold a toy out to her and say "want the toy?" (in just the sweetest voice you can imagine) and then takes it away...which (as you might imagine) goes over REALLY well with Abby...lol...brothers!!! Although I can't be too irritated with him because he has been covering me with kisses all day. He comes up to me and says "tiss!" and I give him a kiss and then he holds up his arms and says "hug!" and I give him a hug and then he walks away saying "bye bye mommy." lol

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We had a nice, quiet, peaceful dinner - just the four of us. We had turkey, mashed potatos (which Abby loved!), salad, cranberries, stuffing, and rolls (which Abby and Michael both loved!). We are so thankful for all that we have!

Decorating Cards!

My great-grandma Joan (Daddy's Daddy's Mommy) sent us a beautiful Thanksgiving card. I liked it so much that I wanted to color on it. I made myself very busy decorating it with my "colors."

I Love to Play!

Now that I am mobile I can crawl behind the couch and play with all the cool toys back there. I can spend a long time back there and if I get lonely for mommy or daddy I just have to crawl back around the couch and there they are!

4 TEETH!

This isn't the best picture but it does show you all my teeth. They are very white and pretty. I look like such a big girl.

Abby Shortcake!

Mommy bought me this Strawberry Shortcake sweatsuit before I was born. It is a size 12 month. Mommy took it out of the closet and was shocked to discover that the pants were TOO small! The jacket and shirt fit though. Daddy says that between Mommy and me there is a lot of pink in the house! This picture was taken near my 9 month birthday (mommy is just a little late in posting it!)

Wild Hair Michael!

When my hair was wet this morning Mommy took some gel and spiked it up. She said it looked really cute. It dried fuzzy though.

Mmmmmm - Warm Air...

When Mommy or Daddy puts me down I immediately crawl over to the vent. It blows out warm air and I like to hang out there. It makes my Mommy and Daddy laugh because my daddy likes to lay on the vent too.

I got these really cool pens for my birthday that only color on special paper. I have been VERY busy coloring!

Skeleton Michael

Daddy took me around our neighborhood to 'trick or treat.' I was really excited. When we got back home I ran in with my bag of candy and yelled "Mom! Bag! Candy!"

You can see a rash on the side of my face. That is all over my body. The doctor thinks I may be allergic to amoxicilin (which I was taking for my ear infection) or I may have roseola. If Abby gets roseola in the next week then we know that was it. The rash doesn't bother me - it just looks really bad.

Pretty in Pink...

My Uncle Pat bought me this very pretty pink dress. It also has little shorts that go with it. Everyone thinks I'm very cute in it. Michael says "Abby Cuuuuuute" all the time now.

Michael!

Mommy just thought that this was a nice picture of me. I have been very very sick this past week with an ear/throat infection and a fever. I have been sitting on my mommy's lap all the time. It was mommy's birthday on Monday and she and Daddy went to Papa and Dama's beach house for the weekend (last weekend). Abby and I stayed with Papa and Dama. But I got too sick and Mommy and Daddy had to cut their trip short and come home on Saturday.

Crawling Machine!

I like to crawl EVERYWHERE! Especially over to where we keep the toy cars. They are very fun to play with. I also like to say "dadadada" and "mamamamam" and stick my tongue out and blow. Do you like my socks? They look like I'm wearing shoes but I'm not...very sneaky mommy!

Who's that Cute Baby?

I discovered a really cute baby today when I was playing in my excersaucer. She has very pretty blue eyes and smiles back at me when I smile at her. I gave her kisses and she gave them back...I think she is really neat!

Don't Bother Me I'm Coloring!

I love to color! I am getting really good at it too. A week ago I drew a fish and Mommy was shocked because it really did look like a fish (duh MOM!). I also like to wear baseball caps (just like daddy - although he doesn't wear it off to the side like this - that is my own flare!).

New Bunk Beds!!!

Isn't this the coolest!?!?! I love my new bunk beds. I like them so much that when Mommy said it was time to get off the top bunk I said 'No' and when Mommy tried to lift me off I started screaming and made my legs really stiff so she couldn't lift me off. She did not find this amusing and I had to go to timeout for disobeying. Mommy said someday when Abby is bigger, she will sleep on the bottom bunk and I will sleep on the top bunk - that'll be lots of fun!

Pretty In Green!

Mommy bought this dress 4 years ago!!! She just couldn't say 'No' to it and thought 'Someday I will have a girl and she can wear this!' She was hoping it wouldn't get too cold out before I fit into it (it is a size 9mo). Looks pretty good doesn't it!
