I'm going to make a great husband someday! 
I've got the diaper changing thing down! Mommy was checking Abby to see if she needed a new diaper so I decided to check my baby too. Both Abby and my baby were dirty so while Mommy changed Abby's diaper I changed my baby's diaper.
Michael reads Abby a story
Michael loves to read to me. Here he is reading "Mimi's Toes" and pointing out the different colors on the page. He would say "Abby, this is blue." He is a really good reader.
Me in my big boy bed.
Well I did it! On Saturday Mommy and Daddy moved me to a big boy bed. They let me take my aquarium with me too - that is the best toy and I ALWAYS listen to it as I fall asleep. The first night it took me a while to get to sleep. Mommy laid by me and told me to lay back down when I would try to get up. I took a nap that day so I wasn't super tired. I made sure to tuck my bear in too. I finally fell asleep (after about an hour) and Mommy snuck out of the room. The next morning I woke up at 6:00 and opened my door and shut it and then creeped out to the living room. I surprised Mommy who was out there feeding Abby. On Sunday Mommy said she didn't want me to take so long to fall asleep so I didn't take a nap. At bed time she laid back down with me and tucked me and my bear in. I patted and kissed my bear and told him nite nite and then I rolled over and patted and kissed Mommy and told her nite nite. I noticed that she wasn't under my covers so I lifted the corner and stretched it over her too. Then I laid back down on my stomach and was asleep in 2 minutes.
My bed is our futon mattress until Mommy can find a bunk bed set she likes and can afford. Then she said I get the bunk bed and Abby will move into the crib in my room. I can't wait until she does because I LOVE my little sister!
I love to jump!
Jumping is SO MUCH FUN!!! I jump off anything I can! In the left hand picture I am counting to three. I like it when Mommy or Daddy counts and then says 'jump!' I jump off and land in half splits. It used to make Mommy nervous but now she realizes that I love to do it and I haven't gotten hurt yet. As she says 'He is such a BOY!'
J's are COOL!
I think Daddy is on to something with these J's. They are a cool looking shoe! I can't wait to have my own 'Michael size' pair!
Abby - 4.5 months
Tummy time is fun when you have a cool toy like this to play on! This toy was given to me by my parent's friends, Ron and Mary. It is the BEST! There is an aquarium with fish to look at and toys to chew on and play with. Can I be the spokesbaby for this product?...gotta pay for college somehow! :)
So Sleepy
Playing Bunko is tiring. So Aunt Susan walked me around and I fell right asleep...now if we can only show Jack how to do that!
Me and John (aka Jack)
I got to meet my new cousin Jack this weekend. He was born June 1, 2005. He is really tiny. I kept wanting to grab his blanket and his nose but he didn't like that very much. I can't wait until he is bigger and we can play together.
Where's Michael?
I like to play hide and seek with Mommy! She couldn't find me because I was hiding underneath this crib sheet. She kept calling my name and I started giggling. I also like to hide under Mommy and Daddy's bed. I am SO silly.
Michael helps Abby with a puzzle
As Abby's big brother I have made it my mission to make sure she has the proper education. As she has mastered rolling over I felt it was time for her to work with puzzles. She did very well until I accidentally (it WAS an accident - I swear Mom!) clocked her in the head with a puzzle piece. Then Abby started screaming and playtime was over...sigh...
How did I get here?
Well...at 2:00pm today I rolled from my back to my front for the first time! Mommy was watching me and I was trying to roll over but my arm kept getting in the way and then all of a sudden my arms flipped up and I was on my tummy. This rules!! Then a few minutes later I completed the roll and went back onto my back! Michael was very pleased with my accomplishment and ran around me several times laughing - then he gave me zerberts on my neck and I laughed.
Me and My Cousin Joe
My cousin Joe came to play with me today. There are only 3 boys (Jack was born June 1! - I get to meet him this weekend) of all my Grandpa Mike and Grandma Susan's grandkids - there are also 7 girls!!!! Joe is a great friend and I get really excited whenever he comes over.
Me and My Cousin Rachel
My cousin Rachel came over today to play with me. She is very experienced with babies and held me like the pro she is. I like to spend time with her.
I'm So Silly!
Mommy and Daddy were talking last night and I was playing behind the couch. Then Mommy noticed I had climbed into the swing. She said 'Hey!' and I started to giggle. I looked very big in such a little swing. Daddy started the motor and I laid back and enjoyed the ride - it was very relaxing. Mommy and Daddy were quite impressed the swing could handle my studly 30lbs. Maybe Mommy and Daddy should take me to the playground!
I'm a happy girl!
Mommy finally got a picture of me looking at the camera AND smiling! This is how I am most of the time but when that camera is in front of me I get a very concerned look on my face. I have very deep blue eyes - I hope they stay that way!
I Love Music
I love to listen to music and dance! Must be all that music Daddy played for me in mommy's tummy. I danced in there too! Every night Daddy plays music and he and I dance around the living room. Mommy says it is a great way to wear me out before bedtime. I don't mind one bit!
Michael Loves Letters
Boy I LOVE letters. My DziaDzia and Nana got me this great board with letters when they were visiting in April. I know almost all my letters and I like it when Mommy and Daddy quiz me. They will say 'Go get the P,' and I will go and bring them the P. Today I thought Abby should start learning her letters too. So I was sat at my board and showed her letters saying 'What is this Abby? This is a P' Abby thought it was very amusing and blew a raspberry at me. She likes to do that now and she giggles if I blow one back at her.
Michael and Abby enjoy tummy time
Mommy says I need to spend more time on my tummy so my neck and arms get strong. She says I won't be able to crawl unless they get really strong. I want to crawl so I can keep up with Michael and all my cousins. I am trying to roll over too (that is easier than crawling!). I can roll from my front to my back (did that for the first time on Sunday) but when I try to roll from my back to my front my arm gets in the way! Today, I didn't want to lay on my tummy so I started crying. Michael didn't like me crying so he laid down and played with me...he is the best big brother! Mommy got lots of funny pictures of us on this great red/blue blanket Auntie Jenney made for Michael.
Hey Dude!
My mommy gave me a buzz cut on June 9th. I was SUCH a good boy and didn't cry at all. My hair is really soft and fuzzy now. I like to rub my hand over it. Mommy and Daddy think I look like Brad Pitt - watch out ladies!
Today I played with my cousins, Maria and Sara. We had lots of fun but Mommy was really tired at the end of the day from taking care of a 3 year old, two almost 2 year olds and a 4 mo old. When Daddy got home from work he and I went to the big common area behind our house and threw the football around.
Abby 3.5 months old
This is me when I was 3.5 months old (a month ago). I look SO much like my daddy it is scary. Everyone thinks I am very cute. Mommy is very excited to be able to dress me in pretty little dresses. Michael likes to kiss me all the time! He always makes sure I have a sippy cup and a toy (especially if I am crying). I have my daddy wrapped around my little finger and he doesn't ever want me to grow up and start dating (that really freaks him out)!

Abigail was born February 7, 2005 (my grandpa Mike's birthday) at 2:11pm. I weighed 8lbs 8.6 oz and was 21 inches long.
