Mommy and Daddy got to see Penny and we didn't *grrrrrr*

So while Mommy and Daddy were at Notre Dame they got to see Penny. Why do THEY GET TO HAVE ALL THE FUN!!!!

Mommy and Daddy Crash Chi-town!

Mommy and Daddy, Aunt Kelly and Uncle Ray went to Chicago and South Bend on September 15-17. They went to watch Notre Dame vs Michigan and got to see the Bears vs Detroit. The above picture was the view from their hotel room in Chicago.
The Golden Dome at Notre Dame - Daddy takes really good pictures.
Daddy and Mommy before the game (before it all went horribly wrong!).

They sat in the South endzone with all the Michigan fans. It wasn't the most fun section to sit in...Mommy says she knows more Michigan cheers than she cared to know - furious brain scrubbing ensued.
This is Soldier Field in Chicago. This is where Daddy's favorite NFL team, the Chicago Bears, play. Abby and I can now sing the "Bear Down Song." Mommy says if she can get us to do it on tape she'll put it on the blog.

The fearsome foursome had really nice seats for the Bears game. It was nice to cheer for the winning team this time!
Mommy and Daddy had a really good time just the two of them. If you were wondering what we did while Mommy and Daddy where gone...well...we had a big party at Dama and Papa's house. Our 5 cousins and us had sleep over - 7 kids under the age of 12 was big fun for Dama and Papa!!

WE MISS DADDY!!!

Daddy left very early this morning for a bidness trip. He is in Chicago for a couple of days. He left before I was even awake. When Mommy got me up this morning I RAN down the hallways going "Dada? Dada?" and he wasn't in the living room. So I RAN back down the hallway into he and mommy's bathroom saying "Dada? Dada?" and he wasn't there either. So I stomped back down the hallway...very upset that I couldn't find my dada. Mommy says he will be home very soom but I don't like it when my favorite person in the world is gone. So mommy took some pictures of me to post on the blog so dada won't forget what I look like.

I love you Daddy and I miss you lots! Come home soon!

Three Words

THE HAIR STAYS

I fell asleep late in the game and when Mommy tried to move me to my bed I rallied and would NOT go to sleep until I had watched the end of the game. Daddy was fun - he would throw me up in the air when Notre Dame scored or made a great play!

COME ON IRISH!!!

Rubbing my head for luck!

GO IRISH!!!

Hey if you play football for the Irish and are Polish and your last name begins with a Z you are COOL in my book. This morning Mommy gave me a haircut to match my favorite Fighting Irish player (ok - maybe it is Mommy's favorite player) Zibby!

GO IRISH - BEAT SPARTANS!
(mommy says: zibby is "graoooowl")

Michael's FIRST Day of School!!!

Once upon a time there was a little baby named Michael. He was a good little baby and his parents thought he would always be little and never ever leave them... (Michael - 1 week old)

But everyday the little baby grew and grew and then grew some more. And one day his parents realized it was the first day of school and their little baby was 3 years old!

(Michael - 3 years old)

And so the little baby was now a little boy and going to his first day of preschool. He will go Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 - 11:30am. He was very excited to be going to school. He put his backpack away and washed his hands and didn't give his mommy a second look. His little sister (who is still little and not ready to go to school) did not like it one bit that her big brother got to stay and color and paint and sing songs. So when mommy and little sister snuck out they went to Shari's and had breakfast - just the two of them and they had fun too!

Okay - enough of mommy's silly story (that made her eyes all wet - she is SO silly). Did you hear that today I went to SCHOOL!!!! It is the same school that mommy went to too when she was my size (different teachers though!). My teachers name is Mrs. Denise. I like her a lot. When I got to school she showed me where to put my backpack and then told me that when I get to school I'm supposed to wash my hands. I went right away and washed my hands. The teacher asked my mommy if I had gone to preschool before because I followed directions so well! (mommy says she is very proud of me). Then I went and started working on puzzles. Mommy and Abby hung around a few minutes and Mommy finally realized that I was fine and didn't need her there. So she and Abby left. Mommy had to hold Abby because she wanted to get down and play too - she was very wiggly for mommy. Mommy looked a little sad as she left but she knew that I was okay and going to have a great time. She came back and got me a few hours later and I showed her my art project and I gave my teacher a great big hug before I left. I was pretty tired when I got home and immediately went and buried myself in the couch for 30 min. I needed to unwind!! Then I popped up and started playing with my toys and telling mommy all about my school!

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL PICTURES

I tried to get Abby to stand and take a picture with me but she didn't want to.

Abby was a little mad that I got to wear the backpack.

Wow! School makes me tired...need to reload!

"At the Carwash! *du du du*"

I sure like to help. Daddy washed our cars last week and said I could help him. I like getting the sponge all soapy in the bucket and I'm VERY good at washing the car down. We had lots of fun!

Picnic Fun!

A few weeks ago Daddy's work had a BIG OL' PICNIC! It was lots of fun. They had horse drawn wagons that took you from your car to the picnic. They also had air brush tatoos (we didn't get one because the line was too long), ballons, music, bingo, remote controled car racing, a mechanical bull (we REALLY didn't go on that one! It was WAY scary), food and lots of circus type treats: fresh kettle corn, corn on the cob, cotton candy and snow cones. We really liked the snow cones and the hot dogs. Aunt Krissy came also to help Mommy and Daddy "wrangle" us.

Iceys are yummy!

We had fun feeding the ducks our Kixs

Art by Michael

I LOVE to draw and paint.

This is a picture of an elephant (in case you couldn't tell).

Coming soon - my latest masterpiece: a lion!

I really like Blue's Clues. I LOVE to go around and find my own clues and put them in my notebook.

A few weeks ago there was a new episode where Blue looks for his new baby brother. The clues that they looked for were: 1-different colors, 2-spots, 3-"Puppy" (the word). A few days later Mommy was cleaning up my desk and found this page in my notebook. I did this from memory - not during the show.

Mommy especially likes my picture of a puppy (which was not on the original show). It is what the 3 clues added up to.

Michael, The Master Builder!

"Mommy look! I built a city!"

"Sing us a song, you're the piano girl"

Sometimes after dinner I like to entertain Mommy and Daddy and Michael by playing a little tune on our piano. I'm very good. Do you like my bear backpack? I wear it all the time!

Class of 1996 Reunion!

Mommy had her 10 year high school reunion at the end of July. One day there was a picnic at the park. Lots of Mommy's classmates came and brought their kids. We played on the swings a lot. Mommy also brought our big bubble blower. That was a big hit.
I like to swing with Mommy.

Daddy likes to swing too - look how HIGH he goes!

This is my friend Jacob. He is Auntie Amanda's (Mommy's best friend) little boy.
He is 3 months older than me. He is lots of fun to play with.

Auntie Jenney (Mommy's other best friend) is VERY good at pushing on the swings.

Mommy thinks I look very sweet here.

Reading is Fun!

Mommy and Daddy took us out for yummy mexican food. Afterwards we went to the "libary" to check out some books. I found some Maisy books that Abby and I really like! While we were at the 'libary' there was a puppet show. Abby and I really liked watching the puppet show.

Do you see the little couch we are sitting on? My Papa and Dama gave it to me for my birthday. It folds out to a little bed and has a sleeping bag. It is a very popular spot in the house now.

Dental Health is VERY Important!

I believe that you cannot brush your teeth too much. Therefore I brush mine whenever I can! I like to stand on my stool and brush my teeth in the bathroom. I have lots of teeth now and it is important for a girl to keep them as white and shiney as she can.

So Sleepy!

I was so tired!!! but also very hungry!!! So Mommy gave me a Gogurt (YUM!) and I was eating it while sitting with Mommy and all of a sudden........ zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....
