Fun with Daddy - Part II!

We got a package in the mail a couple of days ago. Inside was some food and this white stuff Daddy called 'dry ice.' He poured some water on it and this smokey stuff came up. If he blew on it more would come up. It was really fun. Abby kept trying to catch the smoke! I liked to blow on it and make the smoke go really high!

I Just Wanna ROCK!

I love to play the piano. I play and dance while I play and walk around the room pushing it. I'm a prodigy!

Bath Time Rulz!

Last Monday Mommy put Michael and I in the bath tub together. We had LOTS of fun splashing and dumping water out. Mommy says that we flooded the bathroom but I think she is exagerating just a little...

Fun with Daddy!

Daddy's are FUN! Especially when they bounce you on the bed. Abby and I couldn't stop shrieking and laughing. Mommy had a hard time taking pictures because she was laughing too!

My hat is very important!

It snowed here two days ago (and a little bit yesterday). Mommy was trying to get us all bundled up. I didn't want to wear the nice big warm coat mommy had for me. I only wanted to wear my favorite sweatshirt. I put my hat on and then demanded (mommy says to say that I really did demand...I didn't ask) that my hood go up over my hat. It was really cool.

Most of you know that I don't go anywhere or do anything without my hat. I even sleep in it. Mommy snuck it away from me a couple of weeks ago so that she could wash it and now it is all clean! It is getting too small for my head and mommy and daddy are trying to get me to wear a bigger hat but I like this one just fine!

My chair is super comfy!

I like to lounge in my chair. It is fun to rock and crawl on. It is my chair but I let Michael sit in it too...sometimes.

Abby's First Haircut!

So Mommy wasn't going to cut my hair because she want's it to get long enough to pull back. My bangs were getting really long and mommy would sweep them to the side and clip them back. The only problem is that the clips were really small and that made her really nervous about me swallowing them (I'm NOT stupid Mom!). So on Sunday she trimmed my bangs a little. You would have thought she was torturing me - I don't even cry that loud for shots!!!! You can see for yourself that she didn't cut very much but I wasn't happy about it. Afterwards I sat and cried and screamed and gave her dirty looks.

This is what I called to Mommy and she looked around and looked around and couldn't find me. Finally she said "Michael were are you? Mommy can't find you!" and I said "HERE I AM!" I'm very sneaky! hee! hee!

It's My Party and I'll Cry If I Want To...

Yesterday was my birthday party. Lots of my family was there and mommy's friends Jenney and Leslie (and Leslie's baby - Austin) were there too. It was a nice day and most of the kids played outside. I had a GREAT time. I played so hard I didn't even stop to get a drink! When it was time to open presents I realized how thirsty I was and so I started to cry. I crawled up into mommy's lap and she rocked me while Daddy made me a bottle. After a drink I was a happy girl and ready to open presents!!!

I got this pretty dolly from Nana and Dzia Dzia - they sent me LOTS of nice presents!

This chair was from my Papa and Dama. It is soft and I really like it!

I wasn't so interested in eating my cake as feeding it to mommy! I just kind of poked at my cake and licked my fingers. No face plant for me...I am a lady after all!

Today is my BIRTHDAY!!! Mommy keeps saying "last year at this time I was doing this...boy I'm having a lot more fun this year!" She is silly!

Abby's Cruisin'!!!

Well Michael and mommy were sitting on the couch this morning and I wanted to be by them so I pulled myself up at the other end. I looked at mom and tried to tell her that I wanted her to pick me up. I looked at her and started bouncing a little and then started telling her to pick me up (mommy calls it whineing). She then said "well come on down here then!" I looked at her a second and then started side stepping toward her. I was NOT happy - I started telling Mommy that I couldn't believe she was making me do this by myself!!" Anyways - I got to Michael and started hitting his feet so he started kicking me in the face and a good time was had by all. *insert Mommy eye rolling here* See that dark blue coushin? That is where I threw up last night - Mommy was washing the cover (Thank you Nana)!

FIRE TRUCK! I LIKE FIRE TRUCKS!

My Great Uncle Douglas is the head firefighter at the station that serves our area. He has been promising to bring the fire truck by my house and let me sit in it. So tonight he came by after a training session. I wasn't very sure about it (fire trucks are VERY big). But Uncle Douglas gave me a fire badge and daddy picked me up and took me out to the truck.

Fire trucks are SO COOL! I was really excited to get into the front and sit in the big fireman's seat. Daddy got to sit in the seat too. Mommy took some pictures so you could all see what a good firefighter I'll make some day. Daddy asked me if I was a firefighter and I said "YES!"

Abby even got to get in the truck (that is Uncle Douglas holding Abby - he is a very good firefighter). It was time for the firefighters to go back to the station so Daddy told me it was time to get out. But I didn't want to! As Daddy reached in to get me I scooted further and further away. But Daddy has very long arms and got me anyways...so I started to cry. I didn't want to get down - I wanted to stay in the fire truck. The firemen thought this was very funny...they said I could come down to the station on Thursday and sit in the truck again. I hope we do!!

The Loud Mouth Drama Queen!

Mommy says if you want a really good idea of my personality here it is. This picture just sums me up. I believe why say anything if you can't say it as loud as possible! hee hee! '

I have discovered that standing up is really COOL! So I'm practicing a lot and I'm practicing standing up and then letting go. I usually fall down but hey I'm trying!

My Dzia Dzia and Nana are here and they are going to take me and Michael swimming this afternoon - stay tuned - hopefully Mommy will have pictures! (none of her in a swimsuit - she'll spare you all that!).

Mommy's best friend Jenney came over today. I was playing while they talked in the living room. In our living room we have a big bookshelf. The bottom shelf has all of Michael and I's cars and the second to the bottom shelf has all our puzzles. Mommy was actually talking to Nana (they are coming to visit in a couple of weeks) and looked over at me and I WAS STANDING!!!! All by myself I had pulled myself up to the puzzle shelf so I could get a puzzle to play with. Mommy went and got her camera but I had already sat down when she got back. [that's why there is no picture]. That was the very very very first time I have pulled myself up to stand. Mommy says the real fun starts now!

Mommy used to have this drawer locked because it closes really hard and she was afraid I would pinch my fingers. Well there is lots of cool stuff in this drawer so I figured how to get in it anyways (so Mommy gave up locking it) and I'm very careful not to pinch my fingers. I also still am not anxious to stand BUT I do like to sit on my knees.

New Clothes from Nana and Dzia Dzia!!!

Check out these new duds from Nana and Dzia Dzia. They are so soft and comfy. They are a size 18mo and I'm not even 12 mo yet!!! They are a little long but other than that they fit perfectly! I am growing up so fast!!!

Two Peas in a Pod...

This is my cousin Sara...she is one of my most favorite people in the whole world. She is just 2 months younger than me. Yesterday I had the whole day with daddy (mommy took Abby and went shopping) and he asked me what I wanted to do and I said "play with Sawa!" We like to get in a lot of trouble together and mommy says someday we will be Great-grandma and Vern (for those of you who understand what that means!)

This picture was taken on Christmas and my Dama and Papa's house. Sawa's other Grandma and Papa were supposed to come up to visit but Grandma Jeannie got sick and couldn't come. I had very nice Christmas clothes to wear but I refused to put them on. I kicked and screamed until Mommy gave up and said "what do you want to wear?" (she insists that I wear clothes!) and I picked up my favorite sweatshirt and hat. (didn't mommy say she wished I was twins? HaHa I sure showed her!)

So Mommy has this picture on the window ledge behind the kitchen sink. It is one of her most favorite pictures of me. It was taken at my 1st Christmas in 2003. We spent that Christmas in South Carolina with Nana, Dzia Dzia and my godpapa Uncle Pat. She couldn't resist sharing my cuteness with all of you. She sometimes says I'm so cute she wishes I had been twins. Mommy is very silly sometimes.

MERRY CHRISTMAS 2005

Merry Christmas!!! Santa thought we were very good this year because when we got up this morning there was a lot of cool presents under the tree. You can see that my gift from my godpapa Uncle Pat was a BIG HIT!!! It was Darth Tater - Mr. Potato Head! Daddy thought it was pretty cool too! Nana and Dzia Dzia got me a really cool piggy bank that I refuse to put down now. Daddy says I have to be extra extra extra careful with the piggy bank and I am! I got a big box of lincoln logs from Dama and Papa too! Mommy and Daddy said there are a few more presents I will get tonight (from my Godmama Aunt Fessy and maybe a couple others). I like Jesus' birthday - everyone gets presents!!!

I got lots of nice presents too! Uncle Pat got me some really cool blocks that I like to stack and put in my mouth! Nana and Dzia Dzia got me this stacking toy with very soft animals!!! How did they know that I LOVE soft cuddly things!!! Dama and Papa got me some stacking cups and those are super super cool!

"T'was the night before Christmas..."

We got the boxes of Christmas presents from Nana and Dza Dza yesterday (since we won't get to see them this Christmas). There were two presents that said "OPEN NOW." So I got to open one and it was a really cool book all about Christmas. I kept saying "WOW WOW WOW" when I was opening it and then I made Daddy read it to me right away! It is SO cool! The other present was some very neat Christmas clothes for me and Abby. Mommy says she will post pictures of those when she puts them on us. But they are very pretty!

RIBS!

Nana and Dza Dza sent daddy and mommy a rib dinner from Sticky Fingers Resturaunt. They said that it was SO super yummy! They said the meat was perfect and the meat just fell off the bones! Thank you Nana and Dza Dza for making mommy and daddy so happy!

NO NO ABBY NO NO!

It is SO hard to be the big brother! I constantly have to police Abby and make sure she doesn't do anything she isn't supposed to. Mommy says that I'm not the sheriff - she says that only she and Daddy are the sheriffs. Abby has learned how to turn the TV on and off and how to change channels and how to make the volume REALLY LOUD and really quiet. I run after her and say "no no Abby no no" but she just looks at me and laughs. It is very frustrating when she doesn't obey!!!

Look At Me Stand!

Look at me go! I am such a big girl! Mommy is trying to get me to practice standing on my own. I don't like to stand - sitting is much better. Mommy wasn't sure how to encourage me to stand because Michael was standing 2 months. So Mommy thought that was normal!


So last night mommy stood me at my highchair and put some of my favorite snacks on it (Cheerios and VeggiePuffs) and I thought it was really fun to stand there and eat them.

Need Sleepy!

I was SOOOOOOOO sleepy last night. I usually go to bed at 8pm but I was snoring on the couch at 7pm! Mommy's best friend Jenney came over for a visit and she, mommy and daddy had a good time laughing at me.

I love my pjs - they have 'berde' dinosaurs on them...if you don't know "berde" it is green in Spanish! oh...mommy says it is verde...but mom! That's what I said!

Well as you can see Mommy finally got the new digital camera charged up! Daddy and I like to hang out on the 'touch.' I went and got my baby and a 'blanken' and went to cuddle with Daddy. I insisted that we both hold one of baby's hands.
